Acid stains or water based stains are a cost-effective option that gives your concrete unique accents. With our equipment we are able to make this process very quick and efficient. One application of stain, then an application of top coat makes these projects attractive for large commercial areas. Average install time is 2-3 days.
First day we show up to the job our technicians will begin by filling any expansion joints and cracks that may be in the floor. We over fill these areas so when grinding they come back flush with the floor.
We grind the entire surface to open the pores of the concrete. With pores exposed, it allows for a great mechanical bond between the concrete and the epoxy. Grinding that surface is the only way to properly guarantee adhesion.
Once we have proper concrete surface profile, we will vacuum the entire area to remove any remaining dust from the surface.
After that depending on what application we are doing, it is time to start applying product with precision and care.
